Terms and Conditions of Enrollment

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) form a legal agreement between Dr. Puneet Sharma’s Aspire Academics (“Aspire Academics”, “we”, “our”) and the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) (“you”) of the enrolled student (“Student”).

By registering, accessing our services, or submitting payment, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Enrollment and Authority

  • Enrollment may be completed only by a parent or legal guardian with legal capacity in Ontario, Canada.
  • Enrollment is confirmed once registration is approved and full payment for the selected package is received prior to the start of classes.
  • Aspire Academics reserves the right to accept or decline enrollment at its discretion.

2. Services

  • Aspire Academics provides academic tutoring and enrichment services, delivered in person or online.
  • Services are supplementary in nature. Academic results cannot be guaranteed.

3. Fees and Payments

  • Fees must be paid in advance at the time of registration.
  • HST is applicable to university courses and competitive exam preparation programs but is exempt for Ontario curriculum courses.
  • Accepted payment methods include Interac e-Transfer (aspireacademics.uwaterloo@gmail.com ) or cash (by prior arrangement)..
  • Payments overdue by more than five (5) days may result in suspension of services and a late fee of up to 5%.
  • A 10% sibling or immediate family discount applies when enrolled concurrently.

4. Cancellation & Attendance Policy

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
  • While we have previously been flexible, increased demand now requires a consistent policy.
  • One make-up session per billing cycle may be offered with proper notice, subject to availability.
  • Missed sessions without notice are charged at 50%, and no-shows are charged at 100% of the session fee.
  • Late arrival does not extend session time.

5. Centre Cancellations

  • Sessions cancelled by Aspire Academics will be rescheduled or credited at no cost.

6. Online Sessions

  • Clients are responsible for appropriate devices, internet access, and a suitable learning environment.
  • Online sessions may be recorded for quality and safety purposes. Client consent is implied.
  • Unauthorized recording by clients or students is not permitted.

7. Student Conduct and Safety

  • Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow Centre guidelines.
  • Students must bring their own stationery and keep a separate notebook for tuition to take notes during class.
  • Aspire Academics may suspend or terminate services for unsafe or disruptive behaviour, without refund.
  • Supervision is provided only during scheduled session times.

8. Medical and Special Needs

  • Clients must disclose relevant medical, allergy, or learning information at registration.
  • Reasonable accommodations will be made where possible.
  • In emergencies, medical assistance may be sought at the Client’s expense.

9. Privacy

  • Aspire Academics complies with applicable Canadian privacy laws.
  • Student information is used solely for educational and administrative purposes.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All teaching materials are the property of Aspire Academics and may not be copied or shared.

11. Termination and Governing Law

  • Clients may terminate enrollment with 30 days’ written notice; fees remain payable during the notice period.
  • Aspire Academics may terminate services immediately for non-payment or policy violations.
  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.

12. Media Consent (Optional)

  • Clients may optionally consent to the use of non-identifying photos, videos, or testimonials for promotional purposes.
